Experience Michinoku Gold Culture Through an "Okomori" Overnight Stay at the Kinkasan Koganeyama Shrine

Itinerary highlights

Overnight stay at the Kinkasan Koganeyama Shrine on Kinkasan Island.

Participate in the “Ichiban Ogoma Kito” first prayer of the day.

After the prayer, hike up Kinkasan.

    8Kinkasan Koganeyama Shrine

    Overnight stay at the Kinkasan Koganeyama Shrine. "Kessai" Bath Time: 16:00–17:00, "Naorai" Dinner Time: 17:30–19:00 ("Naorai" is the tradition of receiving a meal similar to the one offered to the deity), "Ichiban Ogoma Kito" First Prayer Time: 7:00 (next day).

    9Second Day: Hike to the Summit of Kinkasan at 10:00

    Hike starts at 7:00, right after the Ichiban Ogoma Kito.

    10Ayukawa Port at 12:00

    After hiking up Kinkasan and making your way back down again, board the Ferry or Water Taxi at Kinkasan Port.
