From 14th to 20th of New Year, the New Year’s Prayer, the Matarajin Festival of Jogyodo, will be held. In particular, the 20th day of the appointment is called the 20th night festival. Following the ceremony, the training of the ancient tradition of exercising is performed. In addition, young and old men and women of distressed age walk through the torchlight and parade to Jogyudo, offering offerings such as radish and Chinese cabbage to Hozen, and offering a ceremony to pray for sickness, disaster and safety at home. Finally, in the hall, a dance of Yonen is dedicated to the night until midnight.
