This museum exhibits materials related to the nature, history, and folklore of the area surrounding Ofunato City. Located in the Goishi Coast area, it features extensive geological displays dating back to the Paleozoic era, highly recommended as preparation before exploring the coast. Visitors can also learn about the long-standing relationship between the sea and its people since the Jomon period, as well as tsunami disaster history.
