Carefully crafted by hand-picking and hand-rolling leaves from the camellias that symbolize Ofunato. This tea is calorie-free, caffeine-free, and has a gentle, subtly sweet flavor. Development began as part of the reconstruction efforts after the 2011 earthquake. Production is handled in cooperation with vocational support facilities in Iwate and Miyagi, covering everything from harvesting to primary processing.
