This restaurant is located on the grounds of Chuson-ji Temple. It is known for its dishes made with juunen, a kind of mountain yam native to Japan and a specialty Hiraizumi. Surprisingly, the inside of the building is Western style. Here you can enjoy not only Japanese-style dishes such as soba and udon, also Western-style dishes like tiramisu and pizza topped with juunen. Take a break from sightseeing with a matcha green tea set, and enjoy the view of Mount Kinkei as you sit and sip.
